Agnieszka Bułacik & Liene Jurgelāne (POL & LVA)
Performing Arts
2023

When we published our open call for our Curious Encounters residency, one of the applicants were anthropologist and artist Liene Jurgelāne, and artist and facilitator Agniezka Bulacik.
With their project titled “Exploring plant-human conspiracies towards more liveable worlds”, they spent 6-week at Earthwise in a funded residency.

This led to an artist talk at Maltfabrikken in Ebeltoft and a talk at the weekly Morning Briefing by Performing Arts Platform in Aarhus. As well as two showings of a performance piece called “Murmering through”.

Together they are behind the Berlin-based organisation ‘new visions’, which offers holistic workshops to promote deep, systemic change in the cultural sector.
