Surya Tüchler is a performance artist, who will develop a solo performance in the outdoor space during her two-week stay in April 2021. Based on the sensory exploration of the nature surrounding the Earthwise Residency, she will create a site-specific performance with natural materials.

The artistic work of Surya Tüchler is focused on performance art with live performances and video performances. The physical relation to places and materials is her way of working and expressing herself. Mostly these are natural materials with that she covers and masks herself, expands her body and becomes one. Her archaic-looking performances create images that can oscillate between human and animal, beauty and disgust, life and death.
