Introduction to the Work That Reconnects: 3-hour workshop for Earth, Community, and Self (at ‘Sager der Samler’ in Aarhus)
Workshop
26.11.2026
An introduction to the Work That Reconnects at 'Sager der Samler'
A 3-hour workshop for Earth, Community, and Self
  • Work That Reconnects is a process developed by Joanna Macy that offers us ways of facing our times without shutting down or burning out. It is rooted in the recognition that our grief for the world and our love for it are one and the same. Through simple exercises, conversations, and shared practices, we make space for both.

  • The workshop is an introduction to the work, and although we only have a few hours together, we will move through the whole spiral: gratitude, honouring our pain for the world, seeing with new and ancient eyes, and going back out into the world again.

  • Many people leave with a greater sense of calm, a feeling that they are not alone with what they are carrying, and a renewed connection to the living world around them.

  • During the workshop, we will also tell you about the five-day programme taking place on January 21st-25th at Earthwise Residency, for those who would like to go deeper.
