- With ‘Trold’, Rasmus Daugbjerg has created an eerie depiction of our modern society. With inspiration from old fairytales, fables and myths, the novel becomes a meeting point between stories of nature from the past and the present – and a gruesome depiction of a relationship in imbalance.
